Shopping Trip Chic - Keeping It Simple

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago when Aren and I went out shopping. I know! I broke my own rule and went shopping with a friend (husband). That's not really the truth though because I went out alone and then Aren and his brother met up with me later so we could go out for dinner.
I always like to see what kinds of sales/new arrivals are waiting for me after I've been away for a while. I wasn't disappointed! You have already seen most of my new purchases including my new Sam Edelman shoes and a Free People Sweater. This same trip I also bought cargo pants, Naughty Monkey purple shoes, two jackets, a Free People dress (I love this brand!), an Obey tank top, a G-Star Raw blouse, Gentle Fawn vest and a blazer. I also bought a couple of funky bracelets and some summer shorts.
Some stuff was sale and some regular priced - all of it was (is) amazing.
Note: I did not really ride the bike in heels.
I like to keep my clothes simple when I am shopping so that they don't deter me from trying something on.
Do you ever wear something difficult to get in/out of in order to keep yourself from trying on new clothes at the store?

Military or Safari? You Decide.

Hi Guys!
So I am still hoping that my internet troubles have finally been resolved - there were mass outages yesterday and it was highly frustrating. Moving on...
I couldn't decide whether this shirt was better suited to a Military inspired or a Safari inspired outfit. Obviously with the forest and the old munitions boxes this one was styled Military - that is only because I don't live in the Serengeti and have an Elephant just sitting in my backyard. Enter photoshop : )
This is not the best photoshop ever done (I don't pretend to be a pro) but it is reasonable to believe that I could actually be on Safari staying at this camp.... perhaps.

So, the big question remains - Military or Safari?

PS. 10:00 AM - I was featured again on the FabSugar Looks of the Week! Check it out HERE.
